As we shared recently, the Board has been assessing the risks and feasibility of getting together in person in Phoenix in September for the Annual Conference. With budget constraints, travel restrictions, and the safety of our members in mind, as well as the limitations at the hotel on the number of attendees that could be accommodated and the format of sessions/meal functions, we feel it’s best for NAGDCA to host the Annual Conference virtually in September 2021. We understand this will be disappointing to some who were planning to gather in Phoenix and we, too, share that sentiment.
We are taking the lessons learned from last year’s virtual event and others we have participated in over the past year and will be planning a virtual program for September 13-16 that will deliver valuable content and provide networking opportunities. Please stay tuned for more information. Registration for the virtual Annual Conference will open in later this month.
SPEAKER UPDATE – Thank you to everyone who applied to speak at the annual conference! We will be in touch later this month to finalize all moderators and speakers for the virtual conference.
