NAGDCA’s legislative affairs team is in regular contact with key legislative staff and regulators in Washington, D.C. to advocate for the interests and priorities of public sector defined contribution administrators. At times, however, NAGDCA’s position must be stated in writing to provide further emphasis, or request clarification on issues that may be confusing or contradictory. These correspondences may take the form of letters to regulatory bodies, members of Congress, or congressional staff. Each is carefully crafted to protect or express the retirement interests of America’s public employees at the federal level.
